Corporate Design Textilmuseum St.Gallen

The St.Gallen Textile Museum is home to one of the most important textile collections in Switzerland. It presents fabrics and embroideries from different parts of the world, including pattern books, design drawings and photographs that illustrate the fascinating history of the Swiss textile industry. In addition to the impressive permanent exhibition "Guter Stoff. Collection Textile Museum" on the history of textiles in Eastern Switzerland, the museum organizes two to three special exhibitions each year, which complement the textile history thematically. In the course of the upcoming architectural expansion and modernization of the textile museum, TGG developed a redesign of the corporate design. The new concept was carefully developed to effectively represent and communicate both the traditional and the visionary and future-oriented aspects of the textile industry.

The inspiration and basis for the new visual appearance was the grid (repeat) which is also used in the textile design. All elements such as typography, images, graphic elements and colors are based on this grid.
