Hello, I’m A’DAM (Building Wrap)

http://vimeo.com/85524256

A building wrap to announce A’DAM, the new name of the former Shell HQ in Amsterdam. The design features the titles of many iconic dance-tracks, with the vivid colours and arresting typography helping to convey the exciting redevelopment plans. This landmark tower is currently being transformed into offices for the music/creative industry and a mix of restaurants, bars and clubs. It is due to open in 2016.

The music theme reflects the core business of the developers (ID&T, AIR and MassiveMusic) and their ambition to transform the tower into an epicentre for the creative community. A’DAM is the well-known abbreviation of Amsterdam and also stands for ‘Amsterdam Dance and Music’.

Hanging for almost nine months, the banners (each measures a whopping 25 x 52m) not only became a new cultural landmark in Amsterdam – but helped to firmly establish the A’DAM name in the public consciousness.
