Background Story & Assignment
A visual identity and multi-layered website with a database of articles and advice reports for the Amsterdam Arts Council (Amsterdamse Kunstraad). It is the Amsterdam Arts Council’s mission to present the arts and culture endowments for major cultural institutions in Amsterdam. They are responsible for proposing the apportionment of cultural subsidies to the Amsterdam City Council.

Concept & Design
The visual identity is based on the idea that the council assist all the big cultural institutions in Amsterdam. They operate behind the scenes but provide the cultural field in Amsterdam with adequate and sound advice in multiple ways to protect and progress the future of culture and arts in the capital of the Netherlands.
Our main goal was to give the user a clear and functional overview of all the content. With that, we researched rss reader apps and got inspired by their navigation as is visible in the final result: a layered navigation system providing a structured system to explore articles and reports.
