Nemici - La rappresentazione del nemico nelle cartoline della Grande guerra

NEMICI exhibition explores the visual representation of war enemy during the First World War period.
Through a selection of 200 historical postcards, illustrated by famous European authors, it investigate a difficult moment of ’900 history between forced propaganda and latent satire.
The studio designed the visual identity, the exhibit set-up and catalog. The integrated project reinterprets visual and architectural elements typical of the wartime Heterotopia. In this sense, the obsessive pattern of "N" becomes visual metaphor of trench, barricade and barbwire; while the exhibit frame re-experience occasional and semi-permanent structures and shelters of the Great War.
