RLab – Cover stories

RLab is la Repubblica science and technology weekly supplement. It treats scientific topics in a didactic manner.
The requirement was to create a strong visual coherence to link the cover, the opening spread and the “Science in Class” page that closes each issue of RLab.
The same style and colour schemes are used to give uniformity to the cover and the opening spread, where the cover story unravels. Illustrated spots and infographics help visualising the information in a style that matches the accessible tone of the texts.
RLab closes with the “Science in class" section, intended for teachers and young students, which illustrates curious step-by-step scientific experiments for students to reenact at school.
