“Reflection. I am like you, surely”

How would I act in the time of Warsaw Rising?
What decisions would I make?
In the depths of history, we find people who are our „twins”. Their / our profiles are not much different from each other. Interactive exposition "Reflection. I am like you, surely” lets us find our historical twins and look at their lives from a completely different perspective. It let us feel that the fate of the insurgents is part of our lives. Today the reality is different, but the closer we are with the witnesses of history, the better we learn to shape it.
The main point of the installation are two interactive mirrors. The visitor sees their own reflection in them. While the visitor is looking in the mirror, a facial recognition algorithm searches for a historical “twin” in the museum’s database, giving the visitor a chance to meet them face to face as well as learn their name and tragic story.
