At home in Sweden, Germany and America

The twenty photographs presented in this book were taken during photographic explorations in Sweden, Germany and the United States, the fruit of almost thirty years of work by the artist, and bring together a selection of unpublished pictures that are not in his well-known trilogy Sverige (2005), Deutschland (2012) and Amerika (1998). The Swedish landscapes he was born and grew up in, the memories of a dream-like Germany restored by his father, and the experience of adolescence in America all burst forth, coming back to breathe life into this book.
The project of the cover in “At home in Sweden, Germany and America” recalls the classical covers published by the photographer in most of his books with grey jacket with a single squared picture on the frontal page, but in this case you can find six different stickers inside the package of the book, that remind these three Countries. These stickers represent some of the typical symbols of Sweden (Dala horse), Germany (eagle) and America (flag) together with oval sticker of these countries (S, D, USA). They recall the idea of traveling. 
By putting them on the front or on the back, everyone could customize the book being part of the book project itself.
The volume becomes in this way a personal souvenir allowing an individual journey experience through the book.
