Vinte Vinte
The World of Wine (WOW) is Porto's new cultural and touristic quarter created by The Fladgate Partnership. It integrates “The Chocolate Story,” a factory that produces authentic “bean to bar” chocolate. Vinte Vinte was born after twelve months of intense collaboration with the customer in defining the strategy branding, naming, identity and packaging. The brand has defined four product lines that evolve in terms of experience, quality and sophistication. They are Classic, Fusion, Cocoa Intensity and Grand Cru. The brand's intention was to create a formal and classic identity, contrasting with a colorful and vibrant packaging, which transmits variety and creates an impact on the linear.
Packaging
The naming reflects the circumscribed territory 20 degrees North and South of the Equator in which cocoa flourishes, introducing a captivating brand experience focused on the origins, typologies, flavors and fusions chocolate offers. It also coincides with the year of the brand's launch.
The Classic line (entry range) stands out for the combination of two open and contrasting colors reserving product information for a white label systematically positioned in the same space. The choice of paper and printing method suggest textures and overlays that in reality do not exist, evolving according to the exclusivity of the product.
The Fusion line introduces illustrations for the different flavors and textures keeping the label in the same position, with striking colors. The illustrations create diversity and a richer color palette, suggesting a collection.
The Intensity line establishes a direct relationship between the percentage of cocoa and the graphic stain of the chocolate color, being more sober and stable in the chromatic choice.
The Grand Cru is wrapped in a discrete yet distinctly textured packaging, standing out from any other. It reveals the maximum sophistication of the brand image and exclusivity of this product, where the black color and the fluor yellow stand out, illuminating the packaging. Produced on a paper with a higher weight and distinct texture, it excels in the details of production and organization of information.
The bonbon and carré boxes Classic and Fusion reinforce the universe of each range in a dazzling piece, sure to make anyone crave it for more than just the chocolate itself.
Results
The range extends to various formats, introducing combo boxes, carrés, cocoa nibs and powdered chocolate cans. Since its launch in October 2020, The Chocolate Story and its store Vinte Vinte have already been visited by more than 20,000 thousand people. Chocolate Vinte Vinte is available in around 25 selected points of sale in Portugal and since the beginning of 2021, it has also been on sale in Spain. 2022 will be the year of entry into new markets such as: USA, UK, Germany, South Korea among others.
