This is the first report where we must approach the pandemic head-on and recount the year 2020 with dignity, optimism and empathy. Rather than using photos that would plunge us back into our undigested misery, we recommended using words to express sorrow, hope, pain and also joys. Tangled words, which upset, which help each other. We use words and color as a magic tool to give us all strength, strength to move forward, strength to cope, strength to take control of tomorrow. The photos, treated as black and white thumbnails, are surprisingly enhanced by simple contrast. This year for the first time, the committes full of members IDs are dissociated from the report. So we make two reports, a brown and a blue. The fold remains a major element of the graphic style that we use, the fold as a metaphor for our families and our lives. The fold, folded and unfolded, gives a new dimension to the report, as if it were unfolding in space.
