FORMANI | Obsessed with details

FORMANI is a global luxury brand specialized in architectural hardware. They collaborate with renowned world-class designers, such as David Rockwell and Piet Boon. Zuiderlicht came up with their motto, ‘Obsessed with details’. It epitomizes everything the Dutch company does, from product to process, from strategy to service. We brought this to life in all aspects of the new catalogue for architects, interior designers and resellers. Previously, FORMANI relied heavily on reference cases in which the products almost drowned. So we decided to make the products the hero of the book. Photographed like jewels, the design details and craftsmanship become more visible. Besides that, we visualized the story behind the products. From the design to the manufacturing process. Obsessed with details was also leading in the production of the catalogue. Take the foil-encrusted title embossing on the front and edge painting for example. It matches the high-end look of a design brand. And don't forget the featherweight paper that makes the more than 600-page book surprisingly light. As a derivative of the catalog, a mini version has been designed to serve as a teaser. It has the same foil-encrusted title embossing. This small version is, among other things, part of the new finishes box. This way we give the interested party the opportunity to see and feel the available material finishes in real life. And to physically add them to interior mood boards. All mentioned items are clearly related: they share minimalist aesthetics, dimensions, choice of materials and quality finishes.
