The GustOsa Boxes
GustOsa is a brand dedicated to the sale of the best Italian regional food and beverage excellence, produced by small businesses far from mainstream. Love for raw materials and ingredients, authenticity of flavors, pleasure for sharing and for tales arising around the table are the fundamental brand pillars. GustOsa approached us to create a strong identity that would help the brand stand out in a very crowded marketplace. First of all, we identified the audience - people always looking for unique ingredients - and put it at the heart of the brand's narrative, giving it a name and a sense of belonging: #genteGustOsa (gourmet people, in English). Secondary, we created a storytelling, developed on packaging, stationary, e-commerce and Instagram, where the culinary obsessions of these kind of consumers come to life. The GustOsa Boxes - four subjects, collectible, reusable and sustainable - speak directly to the consumers speaking their same language : "You can't recall Baudelaire but know Maillard by heart”; "You're quite normal until you start speaking about food”; "You talk more to your mother yeast than you talk to your mother”; "You aren't an instant spark type, but a slow cooker". The Boxes are obviously completely recyclable, made of double-wave corrugated cardboard with white Kraft cover sheets, printed with HD digital technology and water-based inks (suitable for food direct contact). Each box is securely sealed with three stickers of different colors, made with G.F. Smith Colorplan Labels self-adhesive paper. Once the recipients open the box, they will find a card saying that the box has been carefully prepared for them, emphasizing its customization. On the other side of the card they can find one of the other subjects, making them eager to collect all the boxes.
