BAM!

Brandpad is a software for digital brand guidelines. In 2022, they introduced 'Brand Activation Management' — an additional service for massive, international brands. The service includes complex on-demand design tools—which are often used by hundreds/thousands of people from different countries, backgrounds, agencies and companies. This was big news, which the client wanted to promote with a little "extra bang", both in external and own channels. The target group is primarily designers, but also all levels of agencies/companies that work with branding in one form or another. We did not have to go into detail about what the additional service delivers. Brandpad has a sales team that does that. The task was to draw attention, curiosity and get potential customers to get in touch for a nice demo. This gave us the opportunity to develop a more abstract and artistic concept and design for the motion graphics.

The acronym, which stands for 'Brand Activation Management', opened up a universe where we could use motion graphics to play on the sound word "BAM!". The visuals use inflatable typography in a three-dimensional space as a driving force. Together with a tailor-made, subtle soundscape, the series formed a totality with power, elegance and a little "extra bang". The work was done in Maxon's Cinema 4D version, S26, which introduced a new and far more efficient 'Cloth engine'. This opened up a large scope for exploring and experimenting with the construction and animation of the motifs. The motifs (design, animation, sound image) were created from scratch, with a technical rig we put a lot of love into. The motion graphics has produced solid results. Brandpad has received large, national and international leads — as well as paying users — who were first met by these motion graphics.
