RIBAG Light
The brand sharpening concept for the Swiss luminaire manufacturer RIBAG focuses on the effect of light. Brand elements, colour concept, image and icon language as well as typography were redefined and a new claim was introduced:
"essence of light".
In the course of the brand sharpening, a new catalogue was also designed, which already depicts the theme of Swissness in a very high-quality way on the cover. The mountain massif, embossed in relief at different heights, rises from a warm grey background that picks up on the defined colour spectrum of light and shadow.
On the intro pages, the corporate philosophy and the deep roots of the company in its home country are introduced in a series of images working with light and shadow.
After the inspiration pages, new illustrations for all relevant planning details and for the light distribution diagrams are developed for each product in comprehensive product typologies especially for lighting design. In this way, the catalogue becomes not only a source of inspiration but also a planning tool.
