Andris Eglītis. Pale choped-off parallelogram

Conceived and released during the pandemics (thus museums were closed), this catalogue of paintings by Andris Eglītis represents an imaginary gallery tour, which interrupts by approaching particular works, features documentary references and the context of creation of art pieces, as well as essays. The axis along which this virtual tour is moving is an almost infinite shelf on/by which all the featured paintings were placed. The shelf and the setting helps to reveal the physicality of the works and, most importantly, the scale. Editions starts with a section presenting the anatomy of his artistic technique.
