Scentsorial is a magic journey that let you feel a fragrance with all your senses and transforms thoughts and emotions into art along the journey.


Context

The Bulgari Le Gemme high perfumery collection is a journey around the world and through emotions thanks to rare ingredients brought together by the best perfume designers to extract the essence of every human being potential.


Challenge

On the occasion of the global relaunch of the collection, Bulgari challenged us in creating a project that celebrated the bond between fragrance and people as an indelible union. The protagonist, Tygar, the most precious essence of Le Gemme, synonymous with Empowerment.


Insight & Idea

A fragrance is by definition an intangible and ephemeral sensation, but nothing like a perfume can take us through new emotions, feelings, and memories.

What would happen if we could go beyond the sense of smell and visualize the relationship between each guest and the fragrance?

To achieve this, we created Scentsorial, a project to let Bulgari customers experience Le Gemme Tygar like never before, immersing themselves in the fragrance at every level and crystallizing the emotions of this synthetic journey into unique and personal artworks.


Execution

Scentsorial is an immersive and multisensory installation that has innovated the traditional olfactory experience allowing each guest to perceive, touch, see, and hear the deepest soul of the Le Gemme Tygar fragrance.

Each guest is equipped with an EEG device capable of collecting brain activity and heart rate throughout the journey. A journey in four acts guided by one's senses. Starting with the fragrance that magically intoxicates the room, followed by a surprising tactile experience where the guest has the perception of feeling the ingredients enter the bottle thanks to haptic technology, and finally the immersion of sight and sound in the concept of Empowerment.

During this journey, the data from the device are processed and combined in real-time by a generative algorithm that evolves in front of the guest until it defines a unique and personal artwork created from their thoughts and emotions.

At the end of the experience, the guest not only receives their artwork in digital and physical format but can also, by redeeming the NFT, make it indissolubly theirs and become part of the Bulgari community.
