Both the name "Great Apes" and the monolith are derived from the iconic movie "2001: A Space Odyssey." Reflecting the essence of the film, Abe embodies the evolution of technology and Great Apes' creative journey through a series of distinctive personas. Designed with fluid lines and presented in bold colors, Abe captures the studio's quirky and colorful personality. This personality, hidden behind the black, concrete monolith logo that has represented Great Apes for over 10 years, stands out prominently. Notably, Abe posters were strategically placed throughout Helsinki, attracting significant attention during the studio’s recruitment campaign. "Abe for Great Apes" exemplifies a passion for exploring dynamic brand expressions and a desire to challenge conventional branding ideas by creating fresh and unique designs centered around an animal figure.
