Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë is a wild and psychologically penetrating mix of romance and gothic tragedy from 1847. 

The book cover features a photograph of a heath in a herbarium from the archives of the Smithsonian Institute. The cloth-bound book cover is offset printed with details in black and gold foil. The design was inspired by book covers from the Victorian era, which often had the the title written only on the spine, leaving the cover free of text for detailed illustrations with plant motifs in gold foil.
