Falling fragments

Tektite is a short film that tells the story of the fall of a meteorite on Sevasti’s living room. For the invitation to the film premiere we depicted the title, credits and information about the film in free fall. The diagonal layouts were cut up and randomly distributed across the pages of the bound invitation mimicking the broken fragments of the meteorite and the disruption to the life of the lead character. Despite its action-packed title, Tektite is an introspective film, that invites viewer interpretations. The choice of disjointed words echoes the esoteric monologues of the film and the use of plain unembellished typography strips the words of nuance, leaving the film open to interpretation.
