STAGE+ by Deutsche Grammophon is a streaming service for classical music, featuring live streams from the world’s most famous concert halls and opera houses, exclusive interviews, documentaries and a vast library of high-resolution audio albums. Thanks to state-of-the-art streaming technology, classical music lovers experience brilliant sound quality, razor-sharp images and exclusive content that enhance the enjoyment of classical music.

The STAGE+ app has been designed for the special needs of classical music consumption and is focused on maximum convenience for the broad target audience. Two central elements are the player and playlist that need to convey a lot of information and well-prepared metadata.

An intuitive user interface makes it effortless to discover and enjoy the content. The platform design and the developed brand language aim to place the artists and their performances in the foreground – providing them an appropriate stage accompanied by a spotlight-inspired visual concept.
Seamless platform integration enables cross-device synchronization of favourites as well as recently played content and ensures a smooth user experience – at home or on the go.

Since 2024, with the release of STAGE+ on the Apple Vision Pro, the service has been compatible with all Apple devices, as well as the responsive web application, Android TV, Fire TV, and various other smart TVs.
All audiovisual content is available in up to 4K quality with Dolby Atmos and lossless FLAC sound – setting new standards for the digital classical music experience.
