Fatland is the backbone of Norwegian food production, feeding one in four Norwegians every single day. With 5,000 farmers at their back, the mission was to transform Fatland from an anonymous industrial player into a modern digital flagship. We turned 200 pages of complex data into a cohesive brand story, positioning Fatland as an open bridge-builder from the field to the fork. By digitalizing the personal bond between producer and farmer, we created a transparent window into a business built on professional pride and heritage.

Visual Identity & Honest Storytelling

The identity was completely reimagined to give Fatland a unique voice rooted in the honest reality of Norwegian farming. An extensive library of documentary-style produced photography and videos provides weight and authenticity, showing that the brand is grounded in real life. While the imagery adds seriousness, the typography and color palette introduce essential warmth, making Fatland feel approachable and welcoming. This is balanced by a clean composition that ensures the brand maintains the professional weight of an industrial leader. 

Interaction as a Brand Promise

Interaction design serves as the tangible proof of the brand’s promise. We developed an interactive operational calendar that simplifies the farmer’s year by linking production deadlines directly to expert advice, providing a clear digital roadmap. To maintain the personal connection Fatland is known for, the interface keeps the farmer's primary advisor just one tap away in the navigation at all times. Efficiency is further enhanced by a smart filtering system where farmers can instantly switch the entire site’s content to their specific livestock with a single click, immediately stripping away irrelevant noise. Furthermore, an AI-powered search interface makes the vast amount of industry knowledge searchable through simple dialogue.


The Outcome: Complexity Made Effortless
The result is a solution where design unites industrial needs with a premium brand experience. It is a platform where complexity feels as effortless as it looks; through intuitive interaction logic, we ensured that navigating high-density data becomes a fluid experience rather than a cognitive burden. Fatland has evolved from an anonymous supplier into a leading authority, securing its position for the next generation by being as sturdy as an industrial facility, yet as welcoming as a farm kitchen.
