Diacritics of worlds languages

The project is centered on the problem of diacritics in type design. The aim is to find a coherent system for designing diacritics and to apply it to the various aesthetic classes of type designs. The result should be an educational tool or guideline for dealing with diacritic marks. Instead of text descriptions, all solutions are shown by visual examples.
Selected categories rep­resent various visual group. The final number of fonts usedis twenty-seven.
Later, a manifesto of diacritics to clarify the background and needs of this project and to promote the main ideas and purposes was issued.
The purpose of the website www.diacritics.eu is to get the attention of people from various fields and to promote a set of lectures and workshops which are being prepared.
In the near future the whole work will be published openly, probably as a website, book etc.
